Let Your Imagination Fly!

A Place to Let Your Imagination Fly!

Long before the January 20, 1997, opening of The Flying Frogs, the partners, site designers and artists had some glimmering ideas, but not a full picture of what to put on the giant play center walls might later become. The EDUTAINMENT play center in Savannah, Georgia, USA now depicts the virtual rain forests of the South American Amazon; African Congo; and South Pacific rain forests of Australia, Borneo, and New Guinea.

"We think people are ready for a new adventure," the ambitious Jay Patel proclaimed when he saw his family's dreams become a reality. Now he says, "We're busy when's it's raining, when it's hot, when it's cold, and when the gnats are out!" Children and adults love the environment and the food. The children play, eat, romp, giggle, climb, negotiate, chat, challenge ... and then come up with even more to do. Variety prevails in activities, decor and food. Parents pack up some socks -- and some bring kneepads -- they corral their youngsters and frequently a few extra guests, and they all become a kid again! ... as they let their imaginations fly together.

Demographics ...
The typical customer is 7-10 years old, sports-oriented and active. Likewise, school teachers have utilized the rain forest center as a setting for art, geography, multi-cultural introductions, colors, and math reinforcement.

Parties ...
Everyday the partners are reminded of how good of an idea The Flying Frogs is. "Today a mother told me she spent less on the total birthday party at The Flying Frogs than on the clown alone last year for her child's party," relays Jay Patel, President and General Partner. One party parent was frantic when their outdoor party was rained out. We hustled to accommodate a last-minute party."And it was a great success," the family was pleased to report.

The Magnetic Attraction Continues ...
Celebrities visit The Flying Frogs during new picture production breaks. TV cartoon and film characters -- Pokemon's Pikachu The Cow and Chicken from Cartoon Network, and The Rugrats from Nickelodeon have made guest appearances. For the huge St. Patrick's Day celebration, the rain forest has been transformed into a shamrock forest ... to all the 'lil leprechaun's delight.

The biggest hit of all, however, is a much-anticipated birthday party at The Flying Frogs. It is the dream event for youngsters within 100 miles! What a ribbiting experience! ---
